Thank you for your request dated 1 April 2009 for information under the Freedom of 
Information (Scotland) Act 2002 for the number of job vacancies advertised within the 
organisation on 1 April 2009, broken down into those advertised internally and those 
advertised externally. 
On that date Fisheries Research Services (part of Marine Scotland from 1 April) did not have 
any vacancies advertised, either internally or externally.  Currently, we have one post being 
advertised externally that went live on 10 April 2009, and no posts being advertised 
internally.
