1) How you are treating in-progress FOI and EIR requests & internal reviews made to the residuary bodies?

Details of in-progress information access requests and internal reviews under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, Environmental Information Regulations 2004 and Data Protection Act 1998 have been provided to the Cornwall Council's Business Intelligence Team in the Chief Executive's department, where responsibility for compliance of this legislation now lies.

Until a new procedure for dealing with requests is developed and rolled-out, Cornwall County Council's procedure for dealing with requests is being used. Please find a copy of this procedure attached.

2) What happens to emails sent to the residuary bodies' FOI contact addresses?

Requests sent to residuary bodies' email and postal addresses will be directed to the Business Intelligence Team where they will be dealt with as per the procedure above.

3) Where should all new FOI and EIR requests go to?

All new requests for information should be directed to the Business Intelligence Team as per the published information on the Council's website at the following link:

4) What is happening to information previously held by the residuary bodies, and where should requests for this information go to?

Information held by the residuary bodies' remains where it was held prior to unification, and requests for this information should be directed to the Business Intelligence Team as above.
