Period Overview

  • Regular weekly calls established between Medway/SHA/CfH (2pm Mondays)

  • A number of escalations to CfH have been ongoing, these have been managed jointly Medway and SHA. Summary of issues:

  • The new consent model is not formally documented in detail, key areas vague

  • The existing iSoft Synergy build reflects the original consent model i.e. do nothing / opt out / opt in for enhanced record

  • Certain key CfH project documentation is yet to be released

  • iSoft engagement yet to be to acceptable level

  • CfH have agreed to meet at SHA level to address the above

  • CfH have agreed to send a clinician to present to Medway (forum to be agreed)

  • Order placed for iSoft `upload order' via GP SoC Schedule A (Sue Wanstall)

  • Detailed planning underway for iSoft readiness, preparing GP Practice engagement

  • RA planning ongoing with MedOCC to issue smartcards and identify RBAC

  • Engagement and Change Lead appointed (interim), should start 01.04.09

  • CfH have agreed and confirmed funding of 4k per Practice to support the PIP

  • Project Plan completed to cover period to upload

Problems / RISKS / Issues for Attention

Red flags for attention

  • The new consent model is not officially documented in detail by CfH, we do not

have the clarity required to engage locally with clear messages to clinicians

  • The iSoft SCR build is based on the original consent model, this does not match

our new assumed consent model
